I'm Jamie McLeary. Current member of European Challenge Tour. Former European and Asian Tour member.
I turned professional in 2006 after gaining status on the Asian Tour at the season ending qualifying school in Malaysia. I quickly moved onto the Challenge Tour in 2007 before gaining European Tour status in 2008. I have played on the European Tour and Challenge Tour ever since. It has been a pleasure and an honour to have been a member of the European Tour for almost all my career.
I have been fortunate enough to win twice on the Challenge Tour. My first time was in the 2009 Scottish Challenge at Spey Valley, Aviemore. Defeating future Ryder Cup players Eduardo Molinari and Nicolas Colsaerts in the process.
My second victory came at the KPMG Trophy in Les Bons Villers, Belgium. Coming out on top in a field full of past and future European Tour winners was particularly satisfying and set me on the way to gaining a top 15 finish on the Race to Oman rankings.
I have also won the Europro Tour qualifying school and second stage of the European Tour qualifying school.
Twice I have qualified through the Challenge Tour to gain my full European Tour card where I've had top 10's at the highest stage in world golf.
In 2014 I qualified for The Open Championship, making the cut and beating many of the world's best players in the process.
